We have been very active at our home and our ladies are doing well.
During November and December we were visited by 1st year nursing school students and 3rd year medical school students. They did some activities including arts and self care workshops.
We were also visited by marketing students who helped us with our Homes social media. We had a Yoga encounter with another old ladies home, and it was great to see the social interaction between them all.
Our ladies continue with the choir workshop, and went to a neighboring school to perform to the students and their families. At the end of the year, the choir went to a very popular musicians concert: Abel Pintos, invited by an NGO Potenciar Solidario. It was the highlight of the month.
Elvira, our cook, retired after over 30 years of service. This had some impact in our ladies since many have been at the home for over 20 years. She will be greatly missed but it is also a chance to get to know somebody new.
