My father encourages me
I am Mh, a student of the sixth grade of Darman primary school.
We live in the village of Warsae Faqir Sahib in Kama district. I have two brothers and three sisters. My elder brother and sister also graduated from this Darman school. My brother is currently studying in the eleventh grade of male High School in Qala Akhund, and my sister was in the female High School in Qala Akhund. She was an eighth-grade student, but when the new Taliban government came, all schools above primary school were closed and my sister was no longer allowed to go. Every day she is waiting for her school to open so that she can continue with her education.
We are a very poor family, my father is a farmer and uneducated.
All the residents of this village and the neighbouring villages are very lucky to have this Darman school. If this school wasn't here, all the girls here would be uneducated because other schools are far from here, and on the other hand, people pay little attention to the girl’s education here.
I like my school and lessons because all our teachers work very hard that we learn our lessons properly.
My father encourages me to go to school and study a lot, and I also try very hard and I want to become a good doctor in the future to serve my people and save my family from this misery. But I don't think that my wish will come true, because I don't know if the government will give permission to open girls' high schools or not in the future.
I would like to thank you and all those who help this Darman school and sincerely request them to continue their donations with our school.
Regards,
Mh
