Help 429 children go to school in Afghanistan

Worried and sad for future

I am Sh, class 5^th student in Darman school, we are living in Warasae Faqeer village in Kama distract, we are a poor family and my father is farmer.

My cousin and I are students in this school, we are very happy, this school is in our village and we can easily come to school without fear and any problem and continue our lessons.

I am very interested in my lessons and school. I am currently in the second grade position of the class and I try to study a lot to get the first grade position.

My mother encourages me a lot in my studies and my great sister F, who graduated from this Darman School, helps me a lot.

Our teachers are very kind with all of us, they love us like their own children and work hard with us in teaching. This kindness of teachers has encouraged me to become a kind teacher like my teachers in the future, but now that the new Taliban government has arrived and the girls above the sixth grade cannot continue their education up to unknown time, I am very worried and sad for my future, that I may not be able to reach my hope and destination, but we hope to God that everything will become fine.

We Afghan girls are very helpless, frustrated and under pressure. I beg all your kind people who read my letter please help our school because this is the only hope for us.

My Hope is in my school

I am Zarsanga, daughter of Sardar. I am student in grade four. We live in Zarshoi village of Kama near to our school. I am very happy to be a Darman school student.

My father is a farmer, and he is illiterate. My two brothers are also studying in this Darman School.

My older brother graduated from this school and currently, he is nurse in Kama District Hospital.

Many schools closed in many parts of Afghanistan, and often girls cannot go to school. I am very happy to be able to study even while conditions are so bad.

Our teachers are kind and intelligent, they love us. When we are starting our class, they first of all ask us about previous lessons. When they are satisfied by our answers, they continue with a new lesson, and at end of it they give us homework.

The Darman Organization provides all the necessities for our school such as books, notebooks, pens, pencils, school bags etc. and also encourages us to study.

Last month my mother was very sick, and she was hospitalized for a few days. The doctors served my mother a lot until she recovered. I want to become a worthy doctor in the future and serve my people.

We Afghan children and all our people have suffered a lot, and we are still suffering. All our hope depends on this school. I call on all kindhearted people to help our school and not let it close.
