Dear friends,
With your help, the Roma children in NG's Gjirokaster project were able to go back to school when it reopened this fall. Donations helped set them up with shoes and clothes (because kids are always growing!), backpacks, and school supplies, as well as food bundles for families. And the children have finally been able to start returning to the soup kitchen for lunch with their friends, homework help, and activities. As you can see in our pictures, it looks a little different now, with NG adhering to all guidance on masks and social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We're delighted to have the children back!
You can contribute to this ongoing project here.
Thank you so much for your generosity in these challenging times.
Be well,
Sarah Pita
Development Director, NG-USA
