Nothing stops our farmers

By Rob Small | Project leader

Dear GlobalGiving Friends, its been a very hot time these past months, and farmers often struggle to keep their crops thriving in the very sandy soil.

So its important that we provide addittional training and mentoring to keep their spirits up. The photo shows a group who recently came for training. You can see that there are young and old and in between.

By gathering together and sharing thier problems and success, they encourage each other to keep going through heat, wind and extreme weather, which is all normal for Cape Town. In fact, I like to claim that Cape Town invented climate change since the weather is often highly changeable, with extreme heat in summer and cold wet winters. With gale force winds in between.

Please accept our earnest thanks for your ongoing interest and support. Every cent counts and allows us to provide very low cost manure, seedlings, seed and training to our target group.

Good farmers never give up and we are supporting thousands each year, with your help.

Yours sincerely

Rob Small
