While schools continue to closed in Uganda due to COVID-19 restrictions, Voice for Humanity Uganda continued to address the menstrual health needs of the most vulnerable refugee girls. There are 8 girls in the Boroli refugee settlement child protection house under the care of UN High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR). These are girls who sough refuge, fleeing from forced marriage and some abusive care takers. We have been complementing the efforts of UNHCR being meetiong the menstrual health needs of these girls, providing them with monthly supply of sanitary pads and mesntrual health education.
Because of your generosit, these girls do not have to worry how they will experience their menstruation. We are forever grateful for your generosity that enabled us to meet the mesntrual health needs of these girls.
