A difficult time

This has been a very difficult and unsettling time for both the hospital and the country. The violence in the Northwest and Southwest regions of Cameroon has been escalating and many of the roads are inaccessible. Patients who need surgery or other treatment can no longer safely travel to the hospital. Although the Cardiac Center was able to complete a successful mission with adult patients in August, they have had to cancel the pediatric mission for September. Many thanks for all your support to date. Your support is still welcome in anticipation of more peaceful times, but for now we are unable to continue with surgeries.
