On behalf of Fondation Tous Ensemble, we want to thank you once again for your enormous generosity and for allowing us to continue providing rehabilitation services to the population of southern Haiti.
During the months of April to July, 4,431 rehabilitation sessions were carried out, including 269 new patients evaluated at the rehabilitation center. In addition to this, in the prosthetics and orthoses shop, 13 prostheses and 120 orthoses were fabricated.
In the program of workshop for patients, a support group for amputee patients was held monthly, in which around 20 patients participated in each session. In addition, 2 educational workshops were held for stroke patients and their families and 2 for parents of children with disabilities. In the month of June, a recreational activity was also carried out for stroke patients and their families.
Within the community activities, we continue supporting the training for the amputee soccer team, in addition to the organization of 2 games in which more than 200 people participated. Another activity was also HBP screening with a total of 764 participants. Mobile clinics continued, in which a total of 1,586 people participated during the months of April to July.
In the month of April, the repair work of the FONTEN clinic began, the work aims not only to repair but also to reinforce the building, so that it is paraseismic and be prepared for any type of future event.
