When a magnitude 7.2 earthquake struck Haiti in August 2021, HRI quickly responded to reach victims and their families with what was needed most. Thanks to our partners, HRI was able to provide 3,000 survival kits within days of this tragedy. And in the subsequent weeks, we distributed over 31,000 meals and 4,000 gallons of safe drinking water to families who had not yet received any assistance, people all but forgotten in the midst of so much tragedy and loss!
