As a result of the ongoing crisis, kids have been attacked from many directions:
Absence of parents, lack of food, absence of psychological support at schools, absence of school meals in Greece.
Solitude, Anger, depression and destructive diseases, such as self-harming, suicidal behavior, dipolar and borderline behavior... are the common life we face at schools.
Kids need our help
Kids need us present to the fear and anger they experience throught this social, economic, crisis we are getting throught. Sunny weather is not enouph for the kids to recover.
We need you by our site to fight hunger, fear, abandon that kids experience from the very first moment in their short life. For kids there is no past to compare to. We produce a psychotic society, youth is getting seek.
Two areas, specifically need attention.
HUNGER is the first. We need to be able to provide enough food as well to support kids with psychiatric challenges. We face many cases where Hunger drives kids to disorders, violence or catastrophic behaviors as bullying or depression or selharming or suicidal behavior.
"Kid & Family" Charity stand by our efforts, giving support with "emergency relief packages" www.goto.gg/15250 providing all essentials, for as many cases as we can afford to help. The problem we face is that donating products are getting rare and when they arrive in small quantities. We were all volunteers really stressed to find solutions to feed kids with psychiatric challenges.
We are happy to announce you WE HAVE SECURED FULL MEALS (3 plates: salad, main dish, desert) for the price of 4€/full menu! in a huge restaurant open24 hours a day 7 days a week at 144 Syngrou avenue in Athens. We are trying to buy as many meals as possible, to give free HUG MEAL TICKETS FOR .
HUG MEAL tickets will give free etrance to every kids and family who need it. Kids will be able to eat, even if they have no place to stay, or not.
You can buy the meal of 5 kids with 20€ or the food for a child for a whole month for 50€ if you do a "recurring donation" as a monthly donor.
The second aspect that urge to help kids, is to get them professional psychiatric care at schools and in private sessions. No training exists in Greece to face self harming or suicidal behavor, as there is no equivalent department at any Greek University. Thus it's urgent to train professionals. as these behaviors have increased from 30% to 75% in Athens in two years! In the meantime we have received a directive from the Ministry of Education in Greece (we are the unique organisation to do so_ to enter both hospitals and univeristies to help kids and young students. The cost of training is 30.000€ / per year for a training of 20 professionals who could cover at least 3 schools per week so in total 3.000 shools per year (200 students per school)
