Provide Vocational Training for 10 Ugandan Women

Hello Lovely Donors!

We want to update you on the status of our project, Provide Vocational Training for 10 Ugandan Women. So much has happened since your generosity during the GlobalGiving Accelerator campaign! We have secured a safe, new facility for our women to work! We will be moving into our new home on April 1, 2020. We are incredibly excited about providing a safe and comfortable place for our trainings to take place. Our new facility has a lovely, large, walled compound where the women can work together, as well as room inside for storage and office space. Please be assured that none of your donations to our vocational training project were used for our new facility! We want to give this new group of women, supported by you, the opportunity to be the first graduates from the new facility, and for your generous donations to have the largest impact possible on improving their lives. To make all of this possible, we have decided to start this new training initiative in the first week of April. In the meantime, we are reviewing applications from women who would love to be included in our program. It is difficult to choose only 10 from the compelling stories of many women in incredibly vulnerable situations. Our hope is that we can continue to increase the size of our programs as we move forward so that we no longer have to say "no" to women due to lack of funding, thanks to your continuing generosity.

 Our CEO will be traveling to Gulu next month to oversee the move and kick off the new program you have so generously funded! More news and photos to follow soon!
