In the heart of the Lingya District in Kaohsiung, the Taiwan Love and Hope International Charity is on a mission to provide a brighter future for abused and abandoned Taiwanese children with severe behavioral and emotional difficulties. In our family-style group home, we offer round-the-clock care, creating a safe haven where these children can heal and thrive.
But our commitment doesn't end there. We're expanding our reach to include children with special needs from low-income families in the Lingya District community. Recently, we've introduced special classes, including taekwondo, music, and English learning, opening doors to opportunities these children may have never imagined.
Our goal is clear: to provide psychoeducational resources that empower low-income families with children with special needs. These resources are often elusive or prohibitively expensive, but we're changing that narrative. By doing so, we not only enrich the lives of the children directly under our care but also foster bonds with their peers, forming friendships that last a lifetime.
Beyond our walls, our children actively participate in community activities, connecting with stakeholders who share our vision. Together, we're building a community of hope, where every child has a chance to flourish and where love and support know no boundaries.
