Last January, the Taiwan Love and Hope International Charity received the official issuance certificate allowing it to open a second group home for children with severe neurodevelopmental disorders. Currently, the organization provides 24/7 residential and caregiving services with a family-style approach to institutionalized Taiwanese children with severe neurodevelopmental disorders. In addition, the organization also runs mental health and psychosocial support services for special needs children from low-income families. More than 30 children and families benefit from the services provided by the Taiwan Love and Hope International Charity.
And so, the team has been very busy preparing the new group home, which will serve 4 more Taiwanese children with severe neurodevelopmental conditions. The Taiwan Social Affairs Bureau has set guidelines that need to be followed in ensuring the safety and comfort of the children. The team also aims to give the new home a family environment atmosphere. The walls were painted, and new beds have been installed. The organization's social worker has also been very busy understanding the background of the incoming group of children that the Taiwan Social Affairs Bureau will place with the Taiwan Love and Hope International Charity.
It is a very exciting time as more children are going to benefit from the programs and family-style approach of the Taiwan Love and Hope International Charity.
