Summer break has arrived for students in Thailand! Often, children desire to take a break from all their responsibilities, including proper hygiene. But GRACE...
The children of GRACE Family Resource Center in Thailand are afforded weekday activities. Their day begins at 7:30 each morning with breakfast and play time. A time of stretching and exercises ushers them into developmentally-appropriate classroom breakout sessions until lunch time. The afternoon is filled with various activities from naps for the younger children, service opportunities for the older children, group activities, arts and crafts, music appreciation, baking goodies, soccer, and more.
What does this have to do with dental hygiene? The children are taught and encouraged to use proper dental hygiene after meals. GRACE provides the supplies and the staff ensures the children learn to floss, brush, and rinse.
For many of these children, dental care is a luxury. Your ongoing support ensures dental care is a priority in wellness support and effectively enhances holistic care of marginalized children of Thailand.
Thank YOU for making the difference and keeping summer time fun and healthy!
