Good nutrition in the indigenous communities of Los Altos de Chiapas is a process of work with the girls, boys, fathers, mothers and cooks, who have carried out actions for the recovery of the products of the milpa that allow to have healthy food .
The School Food Circle represents this effort through the Good Eating Festivities, which are a celebration that takes place as part of the exercise of the human right to food through the recovery of the diet and local knowledge of plants through a local circular economy model in which families benefit from income from the sale of their products.
The project has supported 130 girls and boys from the municipalities of Pantelhó and San Juan Cancuc, in the state of Chiapas, to access healthy, nutritious and culturally appropriate food.
