Winter is approaching and it tends to get freezing cold in Nepal and this especially at night.
Hunger and cold is the most poisoned sting that utter poverty can inflict on the poorest among the many poor people in Nepal.
Our target-groups, destitute single mothers with dependent children all are living in very basic habitats;
In most cases, they live in makeshift-shanties or very simple tin-huts. These primitive shelters are not providing sufficient protection from the cold and it is for this reason that every year before the winter is setting in, we are providing sleeping-bags to the neediest and this in addition to the warm clothes and caps that we are providing for them.
This year we are planning to distribute around 100 sleeping bags.
These sleeping bags are of good quality and they are manufactured in Nepal by underprivileged women. The cost for one of these sleeping bags is around 25,-Euro.
