Dear Friend of RHL,
We are delighted to reveal the newly refurbished community library in Kolahun! Thanks to the vision and effort of Brenna Blazis, former Peace Corps volunteer in Liberia, who spent many hours turning the library space into a vibrant, welcoming, organized place of learning.
Your donations helped with materials and labor for electrical wiring, building bookshelves, and painting.
This library is set up at RHL’s Vocational Education and Training Center in Kolahun. It’s entirely free for anyone in the Kolahun area to use.
As we move forward, we look forward to funding a librarian in Kolahun who can maximize its use.
The vibrancy of the room is in stark contrast to often barren school rooms. We hope this community library sparks curiosity and a lifelong love of reading.
Thank you for joining RHL in encouraging the children of Kolahun.
With gratitude,
Saundra
