Dear Friend of RHL,
Your contribution to this program has been even more meaningful as COVID-19 is making its way through Liberia.
Our programs have continued to serve the most disadvantaged despite the challenges faced by the pandemic. We continue to monitor the children's health, respecting physical distancing guidelines. Our tutors drop off learning materials to students, as schools have been closed and the tutorial center is not operating until safe to do so. With livelihoods and food security threatened by COVID, we continue our cash support to the most vulnerable households.
We're supporting Peer Health Counselors, who in normal times provide health messaging in their schools, with messaging on COVID prevention to be advocates and leaders in their communities and to help stop the spread. And, we're continue to provide basic hygiene supplies such as soap and buckets to households, which is especially needed during these times.
