Give Liberian Children Healthcare, Education, HOPE

Thank you, from all of us at RESTORE HOPE: LIBERIA. Every dollar you've given has gone straight to the program in Kolahun. And, with your support, we've already had a great start to 2020.

The community came together last month to dedicate the Vocational Education & Training Center, built last year by RHL to provide space for the Women's Weaving Cooperative and other educational opportunities. At the event, whcih was well attended by the entire Kolahun community, the Women's Weaving Cooperative honored graduates of the most recent apprenticeship cohort. The Women's Weaving Cooperative has now graduated three classes of weavers!

RHL Peer Health Counselors--a group of young leaders who receive training in sexual and reproductive health, basic hygiene and disease prevention-- are active in the schools. They are leading multiple sessions every month at various schools across Kolahun. Not only are these young people a trusted source of information to their peers, but they are also learning valuable skills in advocacy and leadership.

Your donations have ensured critical medicines are available to RHL children with chronic illness. The healthcare situation in Liberia is increasingly dire and the pharmacy is often empty. Your donations ensure that these children, many of whom have special health needs, receive the care they deserve.

New donations have also sponsored the enrollment of new children! They have provided for the purchase of school supplies and uniforms and paid 100% of their tuition fees.
