El Arenal has 35 families Currently registered in the organization, with 75 kids and teenagers affiliated to the afterschool program as well as the nutritional program, the number of children signing up into the organization has been increasing.
Maribel, director of El Arenal welcomes every new kid and their families with her beautiful heart and a comforting smile on her face.
all of our kids and teengers from el Arenal celebrated Christmas in a very special way this year.
On December 10 a restaurant from the city, decided to cook an amazing meal and at the end of the party everybody took home a present, probably the only present they got for christmas. Some of the kids decided not to open the present on the party, they preferred to save it and open their presents at home with their parents.
On December 17, Santa Claus visited El Arenal to deliver baskets full of food staples, goodies, and hygiene products for the 35 families to take home, the children sang Christmas songs, laughed and enjoyed with Santa.
Thanks to your invaluable support, this kids are able to have a nutritious meal and a snack everyday, this allows them to be successful at school, and they also feel part of society with the special moments they are able to share.
