Give Hope to Vulnerable Ecuadorian Children

It is an honor to greet you, hoping you are in very good health. As you know, the modality of our services as an organization has changed and they are being handled in two face-to-face and virtual ways; due to the pandemic. However, we have adapted in the best way to be able to serve and care for our children, adolescents and families.
We want to share with you achievements during this time. As El Arenal Foundation we are sure that learning to be of quality has to be accompanied by a playful support, it is for this reason that this period we have implemented art workshops, mathematical logic, communication and yoga, the results have been successes since children can experience new forms of expression, new learning and most importantly develop emotional intelligence.
Our 70 children have permanent psycho-pedagogical support within the foundation's facilities, educational and psychological care was also implemented online for situations or difficulties that arise when they are at home, this allows children and families to have all support time.
We want to share with you that thanks to your support our children have food every week; thus we are a support for families who do not have a formal job, covering one of the most important basic needs: food.
It is a great responsibility to support the group of children and adolescents, this time has been made even more difficult by the pandemic, however thanks to your support, thanks to you this is possible.

In this last period, the El Arenal Foundation has undergone many changes due to the health emergency CORONA VIRUS (COV-19) in which we are going through in the world. Due to restrictions set by the government, we restructured the projects.

Today we would love to share our progress despite the pandemic; it has been possible to make a plan, a new schedule respecting the new regulations due to the health emergency.

Our 70 children have permanent psycho-pedagogical support within the foundation's facilities. Our children do not have the necessary resources and digital tools to educate themselves from home. However, thanks to your support; we have an interdisciplinary team to support and help our children. We also acquired new technological tools to be able to supply all children. The entire work team of the foundation is training them in all academic areas. We encouraged them to think holistically, critically, and reflexively.  The foundation focuses on that children and adolescents can have a second home, that the foundation becomes a space of support and safety. 

Thanks to you, the food program is still on, all our children have a daily meal and a snack. They stay healthy thanks to your valuable contribution and support.
