In Europe, we can take education and a warm bed for granted. But in rural Tanzania, the beautiful, safe dormitories Lyra has built with the local community quite simply mean the world to the girls, enabling them to go to secondary school.
You can see for yourself, at the launch of the Nyang'oro girls' hostel, the joy the girls felt moving into the new hostel.
With your help, we have provided a full set of beds and bedding at Nyang'oro. It's a small thing - but makes all the difference to girls being able to attend safely.
Next month, we need to supply beds and bedding to Mlowa Secondary School, where we have completely restored a dilapidated hostel that was in urgent need of repair.
Thank you so much for your support!
