Dear Donor
On the outskirts of Soran, around 50 families live in four informal camps, enduring harsh living conditions in worn-out tents that do not protect them from the intense summer heat. These families lack the most basic necessities, sharing bathrooms and often walking long distances to fetch water due to their inability to purchase it. This situation exacerbates their daily struggles, exposing them to serious health risks such as cholera and other diseases caused by contaminated water, and dehydration due to the scarcity of safe drinking water.
Thanks to your generous support, we have successfully distributed clean water to these families, directly improving their living conditions and protecting them from waterborne diseases. This initiative was not merely about providing drinking water, but a crucial step towards safeguarding the health of the families, especially children and the elderly who are most vulnerable to illnesses.
The distribution of clean water not only meets the immediate needs of the families but also contributes to creating a safer and healthier environment in the camps. We recognize that there is still a long way to go to ensure a dignified life for these families, but with your continued support, we can keep this vital work going and extend it to reach more families in need.
We are grateful for your support that made this distribution possible, and we invite you to continue standing with us in this humanitarian project that saves lives and brings hope to hundreds of families. With your help, we can change realities and make a difference in the lives of many.
We are deeply grateful for your generosity.
