Every child has the right to quality education, healthcare and play - whatever their background, gender or ethnicity. Our Education Programme is creating opportunities for Cambodian children to enjoy these rights.
High levels of school dropout rates, coupled with little access to safe, reliable spaces to play means that many children in Cambodia don't get to enjoy a childhood. Without the opportunity to learn and play, children can't develop to their full potential and often end up staying trapped in cycles of poverty, poor health and forced labour - typically in undocumented, dangerous environments.
ISF's Education Programme provides the most vulnerable children with access to education, healthcare and sport. We work with organisations and parents in some Cambodia's poorest areas, to increase access for those that need it most.
After our students complete our catch-up programme, enabling them to catch up to the right grade for their age, we continue to support them in state school and provide extra classes, vocational training, free healthcare, school meals and monthly food parcels for their families until they complete school and find gainful employment. This long-term support gives them a higher chance of lifting themselves and their communities out of poverty. A donation from you can change a life.
