As part of efforts to address period stigma and period poverty among school girls and our beneficiaries, we organized a program on menstrual health day to educate these girls on menstrual hygiene to enable them manage their periods. We also distributed reusable sanitary pads to a total of 60 girls to enable them manage their period. Additionally, we educated 50 boys on menstruation, debunking some myths and misconceptions they have about menstruation. We further shared with them on how they can support their sisters, female friends and classmates during their period as efforts to address period stigma and create a period friendly world.
