Sanat is a 15 years old teenage mother we discovered and supported back to Junior High School. We provided her with school materials to enable her stay in school. In addition, we assigned her a mentor to guide, motivate and inspire her to further her education and pursue her dream of becoming a nurse. We also gave her Sexual and Reproductive Health education as well as free contraceptives to enable her prevent subsequent unwanted pregnancies.
After three years in Junior High School, Sanat took and passed her Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). She got admission to study in one of the best Senior High Schools in the Upper West Region. We are extremely proud of Sanat and are committed to further supporting her through Senior High School and getting her closer to her dream of becoming a nurse. Stories like Sanat's inspire us to keep doing this important work.
