A HUGE thank you from Haiti's midwives and the communities they serve.
Donations like yours for our “Help Haitian Midwives STOP Violence Against Women” initiative means we can continue to unite and invest in Haitian midwives so they can continue their daily battle to decrease Haiti's high maternal and infant mortality rate, and also to put an end to GBV. You not only enable midwives and midwifery students to get the needed education, but help combat GBV by focusing and targeting outreach and education to the public in Haiti and in the diaspora.
Thanks for uniting and investing in Haitian midwives who are committed and dedicated to becoming part of the solution. Together we can improve equitable, accessible midwifery care in Haiti.
There is still so much more to do. Our goal is to improve clinical knowledge, make resources and sexual and reproductive health education and services more readily available and accessible, and increase community awareness of GBV as a public health problem and violation of human rights. Together we can make a difference.
Thanks for standing strong with Haitian midwives in building a healthier and stronger Haiti.
