Dear Donors,
I hope this report finds you wel. I am writing to provide an update on the Garri production project we had planned.
Unfortunately, due to insufficient funds, we were unable to proceed with the production as intended.
Despite our efforts to secure adequate financial support, we were only able to raise $25, which was not enough to cover the necessary costs of processing cassava into Garri. Given that cassava is a perishable crop, we made the decision to begin harvesting and selling it directly in the local market to prevent any losses.
While this was not our original plan, selling the raw cassava ensures that we recover some value from the harvest and avoid waste. We remain committed to finding alternative ways to achieve our goal of Garri production in the future, whether through additional funding opportunities or cost-effective processing methods.
We appreciate your continued support and welcome any suggestions or assistance that could help us move forward with this initiative in a sustainable way.
