September and October were remarkable months where many animals were rescued, healed and rehabilitated. During these two months, we accomplished several life-saving surgeries and conducted several vaccination drives against the backdrop of the World Rabies Day. We are grateful for the unstinting support from each one of you!
Our spay/neuter surgeries continued unabated and several pets found their forever homes and loving families. Two of the remarkable "hurt to healed" rescue stories are that of Helen and Summer. Thanks to donors like yourself, we were able to perform life-saving surgeries at the time they needed it most, making all the difference in their lives. They are now completely healed and waiting eagerly for their forever homes.
The World Rabies Day that falls on the 28th of September every year to raise awareness about Rabies and bring together partners to enhance prevention and control efforts was given wide publicity ahead of schedule. Embracing the twin themes of "Vaccinate to Eliminate" and "Educate to Eliminate", several hundreds of pet and community companion animals were vaccinated against Rabies. Several volunteers conducted door-to-door campaign to share the message about Rabies prevention and the importance of vaccinating pet and community animals.
As little as $2 will cover the cost of one Anti-Rabies Vaccination and an equivalent of $15 will cover one spay/neuter surgery while a $50 will sponsor a rescued pet for a whole month including vaccination and sterilization.
It's only because of your generous donations that we are able to carry on the life-saving work of caring for the voiceless. Please continue to support us!
Gratefully,
