The past two months were one of the toughest times in our history with the COVID 19 pandemic looming large and we are sure it would have been similar the world over, especially for the voiceless. Our heartfelt gratitude to all you - the amazing donors, who despite all odds, through this platform, enabled us to stay afloat and provided support to the many needy animals under our care. Thanks to you, our work could go on, albeit slow and not without challenges.
During March and April, we managed to rehome more than 15 pets as well as carry our emergency life-saving surgeries for couple of rescue pets. Many animals on the streets who were suddenly deprived of their regular food and water resource due to lockdown were fed regularly and water bowls installed to give them uninterrupted supply of water. The task of encouraging and empowering local communities to care for and feed community animals was taken up seriously by 100s of volunteers, creating the much needed awareness during this time of crisis. We hope this has effected a tremendous change in the attitude of many people towards lives around them - which normally would have gone unnoticed.
While your $10 donation covers the complete cost of feeding one street animal for a whole month, a $50 donation covers the complete cost of food, treatment and care for one rescue animal for a whole month.
With your kindness, we are confident of tiding over this difficult phase. Please continue to support us!
Gratefully,
Mini Vasudevan,
