Fund Emergency Housing for Girls in Barbados

While we are in the process of completing property assessments to see what exactly will be needed for the emergency intervention space, we are also simultaneously ensuring that girls in direct need are still supported adequately and meaningfully.

This entailed especially those who have required our emergency housing services, up until this point, and are still under the age of 20.

Direct Impact from Your Contributions:

1. 5 girls have received on-going one-on-one mental wellness counselling.
2. 26 girls have received direct support that is connected to their wellbeing and ability to function in school (i.e. support with electricity, water, internet, etc.) 
3. 12 girls have received vouchers for school supplies and books.

Additionally, we are in the process of completing a local feasibility study in Barbados to truly capture to what extent emergency intervention is needed for girls, so we can ensure your donations are thoroughly meeting those needs.
