A New Chapter Begins
We believe it is important to inform our donors of the name change that we are stepping into. We hope this name change speaks clearly to our partners, supporters, and customers about our dedication to our mission, our inclusive nature, and vision for progress. We are excited about this new chapter and the opportunities it brings to all of us. We appreciate everyone's support in helping us with the decision to change our name, both by participating in surveys and offering valuable feedback. Your feedback was instrumental in shaping our future. Reflecting on our journey, we recognize our proud history of building pallets and providing working skills to adults in the Hartford area. Over the years, we have helped numerous individuals make meaningful strides towards stable employment, changing their lives. However, while we began our enterprise creating ventures from wooden pallets, our customer base has grown to include those who seek more sophisticated and custom products. Of course, we will continue to expand our footprint, and the number of individuals assisted through the Richard P. Garmany Fund. Our Vision for the Future
The Board of Directors is busy with improving our governance documents and processes and working through the development of a new five-year strategic plan with the assistance of the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving. We are excited about this new chapter and the opportunities it brings to all of us.
