"Soul Sisters" program is around the country for the 8th consecutive year to support women diagnosed with breast cancer and their loved ones.
We continue with the implementation of our plan for 2024, as in April, March, June and July we visited 4 more cities in the country - Haskovo, Sliven, Nesebar and Gotse Delchevto provide psychological, emotional, practical and informational support to newly diagnosed women with breast cancer who are currently undergoing treatment, as well as to women with metastatic disease.
Our survivors and psychologists meet with 36 women with the diagnose. During the meeting we talked about all aspects of life with breast cancer, showed videos with important information for patients from leading experts in the field of oncology, gynecology and kinesitherapy. The ladies received practical advices, asked their questions to the survivors and psychologists of One in 8, as well as received free of charge informational brochures, turbans, wigs, specialized post-mastectomy bras and post-mastectomy primary prothesis.
Next month The Pink bus leaves for Montana.
