Free services to cancer patients in Bulgaria

"Soul Sisters" program went around the country for the 7th consecutive year to support women diagnosed with breast cancer and their loved ones.

In 2023 we visited 6 cities in the country – Vidin, Gabrovo, Dobrich, Kardzhali, Plovdiv and Panagyurishte. We provide psychological, emotional, practical and informational support to newly diagnosed women with breast cancer who are currently undergoing treatment, as well as to women with metastatic disease.

Our survivors and psychologists meet with 102 women with the diagnose. During the meeting we talked about all aspects of life with breast cancer, showed videos with important information for patients from leading experts in the field of oncology, gynecology and kinesitherapy. The ladies received practical advices, asked their questions to the survivors and psychologists of One in 8, as well as received free of charge informational brochures, turbans, wigs, specialized post-mastectomy bras and post-mastectomy primary prothesis.

In the coming months, we will be working on enriching the program so that we can be even more helpful to breast cancer patients in the coming year.

"Soul Sisters" program went around the country for the 7th consecutive year to support women diagnosed with breast cancer and their loved ones.

In 2023 we plan to visit 7 cities in the country to provide psychological, emotional, practical and informational support to newly diagnosed women with breast cancer who are currently undergoing treatment, as well as to women with metastatic disease.

In May and June we visited the towns of Vidin and Dobrich. Our survivors and psychologists meet with 39women with the diagnose. During the meeting we talked about all aspects of life with breast cancer, showed videos with important information for patients from leading experts in the field of oncology, gynecology and kinesitherapy. The ladies received practical advices, asked their questions to the survivors and psychologists of One in 8, as well as received free of charge informational brochures, turbans, wigs, specialized post-mastectomy bras and post-mastectomy primary prothesis.

Next month The Pink camper leaves for Kardzhali. Our team is already excited about the upcoming meeting with the ladies.
