In the last three months, almost 50 young mothers, pregnant women and babies were examined in the center. If we add to that number the 189 checkups made in the past year, we will see how important for the disadvantaged moms and pregnant teenage girls is to have a medical center in the neighborhood where they can receive advices from pediatricians and gynecologists. It did not happen once or twice but because of the existence of this center babies’ and mothers’ lives were saved.
Because of you, hundreds of families already have access to basic medical services. Your money helps us not only maintain the medical center, but also it helps us pay the visits and the additional checkups of those who are uninsured. The center is the first to provide care to uninsured patients in this Roma neighborhood and it makes all the difference to those people in need.
We could have not accomplished all of these without you, our donors, and supporters. On behalf of the women and children whose lives you have touched, and from our team, we thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts. You are a true blessing.
