We are excited to provide you with an update on our project, “Free Childcare Service for Poor Mothers in Ethiopia.”

As parents, our greatest wish is to nurture our children, ensuring they grow healthy, happy, and equipped for a bright future. However, in Ethiopia, many children face daunting challenges. Before our project, countless children were out of school, struggling due to the harsh realities of poverty.

Many of the children we serve—often pictured in our updates—have experienced abandonment, orphanhood, or a lack of family support. They confront critical shortages of food, shelter, and medical care. Additionally, economic hardships often prevent families from affording daycare fees or providing essential nutrition and educational resources.

Thanks to the generous support from GlobalGiving and its partners, we have made significant strides. We’ve delivered nutritious meals and snacks, along with vital medical attention, to orphaned and abandoned children, as well as to those from low-income families. Our program not only meets the nutritional needs of these children but also alleviates the burden on mothers and working women, allowing them to engage more fully in the workforce.

Our efforts have helped children prepare for early childhood education, fostering a positive learning environment that sets the stage for their future success.
