Your unwavering commitment to our mission has allowed us to provide essential full-day Free Childcare Service services for Children from too poor mother and families in Addis Ababa.
During this reporting period, your generous financial support, channeled through GlobalGiving under the specific project "Free Childcare Service for Poor Mothers in Ethiopia," has been instrumental in enabling us to offer unique and pivotal day care services. These services are extended to the children of impoverished mothers in two locations of Addis Ababa sub city.
Your donation has facilitated full-day Free Childcare Service, including provisions for food and healthcare, benefiting the children of 100 impoverished mothers and women working in the informal sector. The project aims not only to support the children's development through playful stimulation and practices but also to provide crucial support to parents. Counseling sessions on hygiene, nutrition, and the emotional well-being of their children have been implemented, addressing the holistic needs of the families.
Moreover, the Free Childcare Service project has had a significant impact on empowering too-poor mothers to enter, remain, and thrive in the workforce. By alleviating the burden of unpaid care, the project has contributed to enhancing women's ability to participate actively in the workforce.
