Dear Friend,
Warmest greetings and thank you very much for helping us provide food for hungry children. This project is very important because children here without food go hungry and malnourished and are often sickly. They have very little chance of surviving and their future is bleak. Often their neighbors too are in similar poverty situation and they will not be able to help too. This reporting period, we decided to purchase vegetable seeds in order for parents to start their small gardening activity in their backyards and using organic fertilizer readily available in the backyard. We decided on this approach so that food supply is continuous and always available. We were able to distribute seeds comprising okra, tomato, eggplant, beans and bitter gourd to 120 families and we will monitor their vegetable plots in order to ensure they are free from diseases.
