Dear Green Friends & Partners,
This has been a very intense period for Green City Hackathon team. We are so excited to share with You the first results.
After launching the online registration process, we have received many applications to the date and the interest is growing from day to day. Students from different fields of studies and expertise has applied to be part of the First Edition of Green City Hackathon. The GCH Team now is working in three main directions to further develop the project:
• Undertaking the selection process of the received applications
• Designing the training modules
• Designing new fundraising strategy campaign to achieve the funding goal
The next steps to be taken are to organize meetings with the selected applicants and to make them part of the summer environmental challenges that Green Line Albania is undertaking. The applicants will have the opportunity to get involved and have a first hands touch in environmental situation in Albania. During summer time they will be part of a Team Building process through organising Hackathon Coastal Clean Up Actions!
Your support and public interest are encouraging us and confirming the fact that we are working on the right direction, towards empowering youth and developing green cities. Broader, extensive and continuous support is necessary to reach our final target of raising USD 39,500 and make The First Green City Hackathon in Albania a successful story.
