Dear Donors,
Green Fields and other Grow Against Poverty Kenya programs such as Pedal Power for Kenyan Education and Prevent Period Poverty are possible because of your donations and the work of Kenyan volunteers such as Alice. For the past twelve years she has been a GAP Kenya Community Mobilizer. When asked about her involvement in this organization, she said:
“I love working for GAP Kenya because the members are focused on transforming lives of needy people and this gives me an opportunity to contribute to their betterment through being a mobilizer, trainer and role model. I have benefitted from this organization by being offered the chance to train local women and students on making energy-saving stoves called fireless cookers, production of cereals and organic vegetables in the community and schools. I have received a volunteer’s bicycle and farm inputs during donations helping me do timely planting and stand out in the community.”
Again, thanks for your continued financial support of Green Fields and thanks to Alice and others who volunteer their time to bring this and other programs to over twenty schools in Kenya.
