A woman's love for her children can do everything

We want to tell you that we are very grateful that you continue with us as an ally in the fight against hunger, your commitment through your donations, gives strength to many families who still cannot get ahead and more with the rise in prices and the poor budgets .

From March to May 2022, on average, we have provided food support to 69,311 women, 60% of this population of women are in an age range between 17 and 55 years.
It is important to emphasize that the people who ask us for food support are mostly women who are responsible for their homes and their children.

Thanks to your donations, it is possible for these women to ensure food in their homes, while working to cover all the other expenses that a family has. Together we make food one less problem to think about.

We also want to tell you that some of these women volunteer at the Food Bank, they select the food, store it and make the food packages that are delivered to more people who receive food support in the states of Puebla and Tlaxcala.

In this way, many women who struggle to get ahead with their families also share their time helping other people like them and receive their daily food packages, closing a triangle of help.

We want to share the story of Nayeli, she is 28 years old, lives with her parents and has 3 children, the youngest of her children is two years old and the oldest of her children is 11 years old; Nayeli's father is 63 years old and her mother is 65 years old, they take care of their grandchildren, while Nayeli goes to work cleaning houses and twice a week she goes to volunteer at the Food Bank and with these actions, she manages to get forward with money and food for their children and partly also for their parents.

In Mexico, jobs for women who do not have studies or whose education is basic are very poorly paid and, on the other hand, are also in high demand. But that does not stop them from raising their children, Nayeli told us at the end of the day, "Of course you can, it's just a matter of getting to work, the decision is yours"

On this occasion we want to share with you some of our volunteers who day by day help themselves and the more than 140,000 people who receive help weekly thanks to the generosity of people like you.
