Feeding Strong Women in Puebla

Dear Donor on behalf of the entire community of Banco de Alimentos Caritas Puebla, we want to thank you for selecting us to make your donation because thanks to this,  we can continue supporting many families in the midst of the contingency  we are facing by COVID-19.

We are also very grateful to you since with your contributions we have been able to achieve the March accelerator goal that allows us to be in this great crowdfunding community which is GlobalGiving, and  give us the opportunity to have access to more resources to help more families.

We want to share with you that during the months of March and April  we started with COVID-19 contingency. Your contribution was very important in order to continue with our mission. The need for food support increased considerably in these last months and weeks by up to 75%.
In February we attended 136,000 people weekly, but at the end of March and April, the food support that we are providing is already 158,000 people weekly, and it continues growing, all due to health emergency measures and the increase in unemployment..

The difficult times we are going through invite us to be separated to preserve our health, but at the same time we are more united than ever to work for those who need it most.

The work of the Food Bank is essential to cover food vulnerability, so we have redoubled efforts to continue fulfilling our mission. The help you have given us is invaluable in these times of emergency, for which we reiterate our gratitude for the trust placed in our Foundation and for the great commitment to support those who have the least.
