Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care's vast array of dedicated and passionate volunteers (many of whom are youth) has enabled SRLC to operate with minimal overhead costs and invest the entirety of its resources in global upliftment. SRLC has implemented a 10-fold program to touch the lives of the underprivileged with initiatives ranging from Health and Education Care to Child, Women, and Tribal Care. To date, SRLC has touched the lives of over 5,300,000 individuals.

At the onset of COVID-19, while many individuals were struggling to adapt to a remote lifestyle, SRLC recognized the incalculable impact that the pandemic would have on numerous individuals. Over a span of 150 days, volunteers eagerly spread love and care by providing support to the afflicted and helping to uplift their communities. As the crippling effects of the COVID-19 pandemic took form, nations were forced into lockdown. Within a day of India entering its first lockdown, many struggled to adjust to a new living style. Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care sprung into action and launched a 360° program to provide safety and relief to those affected by the outbreak. Pujya Gurudevshri emphasized, “If a virus can be contagious, how can virtues not be? Kindness is contagious too.”

Nearly 150 days into the pandemic, as many of us begin resume some sense of normalcy, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care remains relentless in its continued efforts to provide both short and long-term support to those affected by COVID-19 both in India and globally. SRLC has been awarded the ‘COVID Social Champions Award – Charity’ at the CSR Health Impact Awards 2020. Across the globe over 150 days in 50 cities, 235,000 meals were made and distributed, 215,000 masks to hospitals and care centers, 200,000 daily essentials, and 12,000 PPE kits to 40,000 frontliners.

Centers world-wide reciprocated this sentiment and launched initiatives within their own communities to uplift and preserve the livelihood of those most affected by the pandemic. Volunteers took steps to acquire and supply front-line health care workers with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); strained medical facilities were further supplied with ventilators, hospital beds and other necessary medical equipment. Food, rations and other essential items were distributed, in partnership with other organizations and compliance with government regulations, to migrant workers and others suffering from loss of income. In its mission to protect all living beings, SRLC also expanded initiatives to protect afflicted animals. Hundreds of volunteers globally engaged in extensive fundraising efforts to spread awareness about Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care and support its efforts. In the United States, a musical charity telecast was streamed to promote SRLC’s efforts to thousands of viewers nationwide.

As coronavirus case numbers steadily climbed, there was a simultaneous increase in the number of individuals facing great difficulties. Thus, SRLC launched the COVID-Warrior Campaign to raise funds for those who were in need. A warrior is one who can stand up and support for the people in need of aid. Thousands of warriors around the United States worked endlessly and tirelessly to raise funds for their brothers and sisters home and abroad who were severely affected by the pandemic. Meera Mehta, a 21-year old medical student from Mumbai, also joined to contribute her compassion to the Warrior Campaign. She pooled all her resources and connections and was recently awared the presitgious Diana Award for her incredible fundraising efforts, through 47 donors she genereated an impact of nearly $60,000.

Moving from USA to India, the headquarters of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care expounds an ideal of equality towards all beings, and every individual is entitled to healthy food and a comfortable life. Over two months, volunteers all over Mumbai handmade over 2 million meals for migrant workers. Families turned their kitchens into a place of service and altruism. Each member of the family contributed in cooking, packing and transporting the meals to those in need. Nearly 11,500 lives were touched in the launch of the "Circle of Love and Care" initiative that swept the city of Mumbai during lockdown.

Shrimad Rajchanda Love and Care continues it's humble efforts to serve as a beacon of hope throughout dark times.
