With temperatures rising, it is essential to stay nourished and hydrated for everyone. Its not a luxury but a necessity to keep living.
Projects like Pikpa are going above and beyond by not only meeting the basic human needs but also providing delicious and nutritious food for the community that live in their safe haven. Food brings everyone together, although people are from different countries sharing a meal unites us all.
Pikpa run a shelter for the most vulnerable refugees living on the Greek island of Lesvos. They house and protect people with disabilities, chronic diseases, those recovering from surgey, the elderly and vulnerable families. In partnering with local greek organisation Pikpa in Lesvos, Greece last month alone, we helped 83 vulnerable people eat 3 hearty meals a day.
Thanks to your donations, 20 children, 4 pregnant women and 6 newborn babies were among those who received specialist meals everyday this summer.
To help us continue, donate today. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for your support.
