Who do we provide food for in Greece?
Across 15 camps, 5 housing projects and 4 community kitchens, we distribute over 100,000 meals to 4,000+ refugees every month.
We also provide 10,400 fresh fruit and veg packages to 4 camps and 3 housing projects, serving over 2,600 people every day.
Thanks to your donation, in December alone 4,843 people received dry food packages and 3,423 people received regular vegetable and fruit provisions.
The Food Project first started nearly two years ago. We saw that people living in camps didn’t have access to enough nutritious food. As the number of people in Greece in need of support grew, so did the project.
Thanks to your support we have been able to continue providing people with the most basic of needs. But during the winter months, the people we support need food more than ever to stay healthy and warm. If you are able to make another donation to the food project today, it will make all the difference tomorrow. Just $10 can buy fresh fruit & veg for a family for a whole week.
