Vegetable seedlings provision

Seedlings for gardens

Dear Friend,

Thank you very muh for your support to our project feed a hungry child. During this reporting period we added the distribution of vegetable seedlings to our beneficiaries to augment their needs for their backyard gardens. Our experience in previous effort with food production via vegetable gardening is that farmers sometimes are not able to grow the seedlings successfully because they are very tiny and germinating them is a problem. Some of the seeds are wasted and the seeds are expensive. So to change the strategy, we grow the seedlings ourselves and provide these to our farmers after we inspect that they already have their respective plots in which to grow them. We were able to provide seedlings to 75 farmers during this time and we hope to increase the number of beneficiaries in the next reporting time. Again thank you very much.

Very sincerely yours,

Cesario Sayre
