Feed and educate children in El Alto, Bolivia

Happy Spring!

The school year is off to a good start in Bolivia, with the kids back at the Centre full time as well as in school in person!  Life is taking on a new normal.  Masks are worn everywhere in Bolivia, even outside, and this is keeping the COVID case count low. 

The families who attend the programs at the Centre are all vaccinated, as are the staff.  We are doing our best to keep the children safe and comfortable in these trying times.

Thanks to YOUR support, the children are again receiving the nutrition they need, and the help they need to make their school year more successful. As always, the parents are extremely grateful for your generosity, and they send their abrazos (hugs) and best wishes.

This year we need to provide some repairs and maintenance to the aging Centre - keep your eye out on a fantastic matching campaign coming up in early April!  This info will be sent via email.  

We are also looking to grow our monthly donor base with the 2022 goal of having monthly donations cover 50% of the education and nutrition programs.  If you are not yet signed up, and are able to help us with that, we could be eternally grateful.  Even $10 a month helps!  Our motto has always been 'poco a poco', little by little.  You can make a difference, no matter how much you can give. You have been an important member of the community of care for the kids in Bolivia, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
