We have had some wonderful success in helping provide the children with nutrition thanks to our donors.
Recently, our dairy cow died unexpectedly of organ failure. This beloved cow had been providing much needed protein rich milk for all 500 of our kids, especially the 100+ kids that come to the Centre daily for meals and the 140 kids with HIV who desperately need the protein to maintain their health. We had a campaign to raise funds for a new dairy cow and thankfully we were able to get a new one pretty quickly! The milk is used for so much more than just drinking. Many meals use milk to enhance flavor and use as a thickener.
Thank you to all who have helped support these kids. Without nutrition, many of them wouldn't be able to fight against their battle with AIDS.
Next we hope to install new cook stoves for the centre.
We hope you keep supporting the kids.
Thank you.
