Pattaya is experience=ing a building 'boom' and with that becomes a greater need for land areas to deelop. This has resulted in 2 slum ares being destroyed to make way for progress but leaving hundreds of families with no where to go. This has made our job even harder as we look for those who have fled lookng for a spare piece of land to inhabit. We are also meeting many new families who are desperate for the basic food and hygiene supplies. Walking away and pretending we didn't see their plight is simply not an option for us. How many can we feed? A many as we need too!!!
We have been helping some communities who have some spare land available, grow easy vegetables and herbs which is providing not only a great supplement to their diet but alo giving them a boost to their self esteem.
Thank you so mcuh for partnering with us. Every dollar counts, especially when you have nothing to feed your child! Every Friday we spend 4 hours driving to approximately 10 different slu communities delivering food, medicine, hygeing products and bucket loads of love and joy too!
