By Michael Hildenbrand | Project Leader
When I was in Uganda last December we were excited to see the rains return and crops improving. In fact the village leaders gave me a Karamojan name meaing :"he who brings the rain". I was blessed. Since that time the rains have been fairly steady and the crops are improving. While not at 100% we are hoping that they will be sufficent to avoid another famine declaration. I will be back in Uganda in November and will be able to see first hand how things are. These people are resiliant and hard workers. They are used to adversity, so we are confident that they will be succesful.
